ShortenMobile watches the clipboard of the device and automatically shortens the urls for you. The application can be set to run at start up and hides in the background. The app currently supports bit.ly url shortening , more providers may come later. the app requires .NET Compact Framework 3.5

How to use:

• Install the cab file
• Open ShortenMobile from StartMenu
• Activate the checkbox “Run at startup”
• Click on Hide-Softkey
• Copy any url (including “http:/” at the beginning) to the clipboard
• The shortened url is available in the clipboard after the confirmation dialog has been shown

Looks like every windows mobile users out there ( at least the ones that own an HD2 ) wants to get WP7 on the HD2. Rumors are floating all around the place, some says HD2 will get WP7 others claim HD2 will not get upgraded.

Now there is an online Petition asking the HTC HD2 community to make their voice count by signing the online petition asking HTC to release an update for the HD2. So what are you waiting for Vote here

SRS WOW HD

LG WM7

The first Windows phone 7 will be having a full hardware qwerty Keyboard and was shown off on the Engadget Show. Microsoft’s Aaron Woodman was with them to answer a few questions about the OS.

They dodge the HD2 upgrade question by saying more info will be given at mix.

Multitasking ? well they will talk about it at mix ..

Flix

Flix is a Cinema Listings application for Windows Mobile. ( we reviewed an older version of this windows mobile app on BestWindowsMobileApps.com ), with the latest update the app has reached version 1.0.9.6. Amongst the list of changes, the app now supports Aussie Cinema.
